Favorite class: Comparative politics
Being a day student: Even though I go home at night, NMH creates a community in which building friendships is easy. No matter what your interests are, you'll find a group of people who share them. Sometimes I stay on campus during the weekend, and there is no shortage of things to do—dances, concerts, trips, you name it.
About academics: I love the variety of courses available, and the international program is great. I'm now considering foreign policy as a career. And while the workload can be challenging at times, I got used to managing my time quickly enough my first year. Being excited about my courses helped get me through the difficult times.
My experience: NMH has raised in me an awareness of my own potential. My classroom experience has shown me that there is nothing I cannot do if I truly put my mind to it. My horizons are expanding with each moment I spend here.
