My friends and I motivate each other and teachers listen and understand when the work feels challenging. My experience: When I first came to NMH, I was very dependent and shy. Now I can take care of myself and I feel more relaxed when I am in new situations. NMH provides a home away from home, and it's a place where I always feel supported. I'm a very different person in many positive ways. Some advice: Incoming students should keep in mind that everyone was new at some point, so they shouldn't be afraid to talk to others about their experiences as a newcomer. I promise you'll find someone who feels the same.
