facetext= Likes best: Symphony Orchestra, skiing, International Carnival, NMH Outreach, being a resident assistant, international ambassador, member of the student life committee, and chicken and rice for dinner (almost as good as at home) Favorite class: There are lots! German is one. Being an international student: The international diversity at NMH is significant and really makes it different from other prep schools. It gives international students like me the opportunity to learn in a spectacular environment without feeling lonely or like an outsider. It also gives domestic students the chance to learn about people, cultures, and traditions from all over the world. Life at NMH: Being at NMH has taught me the importance of community, family, and friends. I never knew the joy of getting involved until I came here and joined organizations and clubs, volunteered for community service, and actively participated in classes. About academics: At first I was overwhelmed by the workload, but there are so many people willing to help out. The libraries are open all day until 10 pm, and the librarians help get what you need. There are writing and computer labs twice a week, which helps you become faster and more efficient. And many teachers even invite you to their apartment if you need extra help. With all the encouragement and support, I've learned to manage my work well.
