Teachers make you work hard until you become a master of the subject. But you do learn quickly how to manage your time, and there is always someone available to help. Life at NMH: We may be in a rural area, but that doesn't mean we don't have fun! The student activities program is stellar. Whether it's a music open-mic night, dance, movie, lecture series, or a headline comedian or band, there's always something to do on weekends. You can catch a bus to Greenfield for a first-run movie, go on a free trip to the Ingleside Mall, or sign up for one of the monthly trips to New York City or Boston. My experience: NMH is giving me a solid foundation on which to build my future. It has instilled in me a deep sense of service, commitment, acceptance, pride, integrity, and a lust for learning. The diversity here truly opens minds. Students cease to be citizens of a certain city or country—we are a world community.
