Living with other students who act or dress differently, or whose morals and values reflect a different way of growing up, has taught me a lot about myself and the type of person I want to be. Studying at NMH: Although we have required study hall from 8 to 10 pm, there are certain days when homework takes more than two hours and others when it takes less. Now I start earlier if I have to, and I don't procrastinate. I've also learned to ask for help when I need it and to manage my time better. I've become much more independent. Some advice: Parents, if you are worried about letting your children go to boarding school at such an early age, let them go! It's a good experience, and I can attest that NMH is a great place to be, to learn, to make friends, and to have fun. You students who are thinking about applying, come and visit! Seeing NMH firsthand is what made me decide to come here. Maybe I can give you a tour myself!
